New York Pizza & Pasta

I recently visited New York Pizza & Pasta for the first time after it was recommended to me by a friend, and I’m really glad I gave it a try. It’s a very small but cozy restaurant with a welcoming feel. When we stopped in for lunch, it wasn’t crowded at all, which made for a relaxed and enjoyable experience. I like that they offer both pizza by the slice for a quick bite or the option to special order anything on the menu. I decided to go with the stuffed meat pizza, and it did not disappoint. The portion was very large and quite filling. The flavors were delicious, and the crust was especially good—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The pizzas are great! The ingredients are fresh. The pizza sauce isn't too sweet. The Philly cheese steak sub is toasted with plenty of cheese. The fries weren't my favorite but still good. The tracksuit was a decent size. I'm happy to dine here again!

For family dinner this week, we chose New York Pizza & Pasta just to try something new. It's practically half way in between all of our family members who typically join in on our weekly get together. There were only five of us this week which was a perfect number. If the whole gang had joined us, we would have had to split up between different tables. This place is on the small size (housed in a former Taco Bell site). You order at the counter, take your number to the table and wait to be called for your food pick-up. Two members of our party ordered 12" pizzas, two ordered the child-size Fettuccine Alfredo, and I elected the Penne Arabiatta. I also ordered a pepperoni pinwheel and garlic cheese bread to share. My boyfriend and I ate here to try things out! And let’s just say it didn’t disappoint. I personally love pasta and the vodka penne was delicious! He got the buffalo chicken pizza and it was amazing! Definitely going to be one of our regulars!!

They keep about 6 pizzas sitting out in a window w a fly. I asked if it was refrigerated and she said no, but that it’s half raw. Basically they heat up your pizza by the slice in the big pizza oven. This sketched me out so we ordered a brand new whole pizza for the 3 of us. We paid $9 in sodas for 3 people 🙈. I could have just brought my water in from the car. The plain white sauce pizza w ricotta and added pepperoni was fine. Nothing to complain about My 6 year old had to pee like a race horse so we asked for the restroom. It’s apparently outside like a gas station. However it was very clean with a changing table. It was pretty dark but my son was happy that there were no spiders. I don’t know if I’ll be back. Nothing negative other than the sketchy raw pizza sitting out on the counte
