Best platter place in NJ. I always ask them to make it spicy and never went back to having regular platters. The platter is fresh and isn’t oily like a lot of places. The owner is really nice and always caters to your needs. My friends and I always go here for a late night NY platter craving.

Food was not ready when I got there after the app said it was likely ready. I walked in and said "Door Dash for Kevin". He says "pickup?". Me "yes". He looks at his tablet and says 5 mins and walks in the back. 10mins later he comes out, helps another customer that walked in, then gave me my food. The wings were okay. The fries were the best part, and the 2 Pcs Whiting Fish Only was overcooked, dry, and had lots of bones. When this place first opened, it was great. Then it went under new management and the food dropped drastically. I didn't go back until now, and today was a reminder why I hadn't been back. I said thank you very much when he handed me my "food" and the clerk said nothing. That's the last time I get "food" from there. All around bad experience.

Ordered a mixed platter with extra white sauce and a dash of hot sauce.. 10/10 can’t complain. Rice was cooked well, lamb and chicken was flavorful, veggies were fresh not soggy!! The young man in the front was also very sweet! Coming again when I crave for this!!

I recently tried out New York Chicken and Grill when they came to MCMC mosque on a Jummah day. I bought their chicken over rice for just $10, and the portion size was impressive—one box could easily serve two people. My husband absolutely loved it. However, as someone who isn't a big fan of grilled or smoked chicken, I didn't enjoy it as much. I prefer the lamb over rice more. Despite this, I'm intrigued by their menu and plan to try their lamb platter and burgers soon.

This halal spot has amazing lamb platters — hands down my favorite. The flavor is truly incomparable, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. You can tell a lot of care goes into the food. I keep coming back because nothing else compares.
