New York Bagels N Bialys

This was our first time at the Grayhawk location and honestly it’s been many years since we ate at the central Scottsdale NYB&B. We’re visiting from Tucson so we don’t get to this area that much.

First of all, Tiffany delivered awesome service! She was extremely welcoming and accommodating, got our coffees and menus quickly, checked on us periodically, gave great menu guidance, and had a really friendly personality. She should be a bartender if she hasn’t been one before. She’s easy to talk to and make the dining experience that much better. I had the open faced lox on sesame bagel and it was excellent - and QUARTERED! They’re not messing around with open faced here, not two halves but four easy to maneuver quarters! The lox itself was perfect - not too salty, no black spots, fresh

Absolutely love this place! The bagels are fresh, perfectly toasted, and have that authentic New York bite. The menu has so many great options — you can grab something simple or go all out for breakfast or lunch. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The green chile and cheese sauce are must-tries, and the potato pancakes are delicious. So happy to have a spot like this in the neighborhood. Highly recommend! 🥯💛

This place took over the old First Watch location and it did not disappoint at all. The pancake hash browns, the burgers, the BLT, absolutely phenomenal. Honestly, I am not sure what kind of magic they are cooking with back there, but everything that came out of that kitchen tasted like it was crafted by someone who genuinely loves food and wants you to be happy. Highly recommend. Bring an appetite and maybe some self control, because once you start eating here, you are going to want everything on the menu.

Lindsey was amazing! Best service I have had at any restaurant in ages! Great conversation, great suggestions from the menu and great service. I will be back for sure. The food was very good! However, I'm just not a huge fan of the potatoes. I had the heaven hash Benedict. The potato pancakes were perfect and the hash was very tasty. This is a great menu item.

Review is based solely on one experience. Being a NYer, I thought I’d stop into get a bialy. These are even hard to find in NY & NJ so figured why not. First, a bialy never comes in different varieties yet these came in sesame, cinnamon raisin, etc. I ordered a sesame with lox cream cheese toasted. Took far to long to get it making me wonder if they had to make it from scratch, but it was a Saturday and I didn’t care. I was excited to get a bialy in AZ. Sadly, what I got was no bialy. It was just a flat bagel. It had a hole and no burned onion center. I ate it, it was fine. It was not a bialy by any stretch. The menu here looks decent and the bagels might be better so I’ll go back to try other things. Just no bialy.
