New Seoul Korean Charcoal BBQ is hands down one of the BEST dining experiences in the Chicago suburbs. The oak wood charcoal makes a huge difference — you can actually taste the authentic smoky flavor that you just can’t get from gas grills. The meats are incredibly fresh and high quality. Every bite was tender, juicy, and perfectly caramelized. If you want real Korean BBQ done right, this is the place!

WE LOVE THIS PLACE ‼️ wallet friendly korean bbq for $28-40 you get one meat and unlimited sides which is enough food to feed two people (price depends on what meat u get) my boyfriend and i discovered this beautiful little gem by accident and it’s our go-to spot. we came here for our 6 month anniversary today and we were sad to see it wasn’t busy but we don’t understand why because the food is SOOO delicious and the atmosphere is great (the first time we came here the owner greeted us and was very welcoming) we ordered the bbq brisket and octopus. brisket was thin sliced and cooked beautifully. the octopus was well marinated and seasoned. the sides are very delicious. the BEST part was the dipping sauce for the meat. the darker sauce is well balanced DELICIOUS umami and not too sweet. t

It’s like you’re being served by your relatives—they were so kind and accommodating, checking on us constantly. We had Galbi and the beef tongue. The banchans, especially the fish cake, were amazing. The portions were perfect as I didn’t feel overly full/overwhelmed compared to other places. We hope to come back to try their lunch entrees :)

We have been craving a charcoal-grilled kbbq experience for a minute, and we landed in this spot by accident when our original choice closed early. So happy we did!! It was relatively late on a weekday, and with a sleepy toddler, they welcomed us and placed us in a cozy corner away from the other patrons. Joe the owner was super helpful and friendly/funny being it was our first time (and definitely not going to be our last) at this family run restaurant. They even offered to make something special for the little one. Everything was delicious and the service was top notch. For mains, we ordered the beef brisket, pork belly, and octopus. Best Korean charcoal BBQ in Chicagoland. It’s been in the business for 24 years, and unfortunately it’s our first visit. As a start, Side dishes are delicious, especially the salad is so good. Beef and eels are tender and tasty. Rich, aromatic wood smoke. Very friendly service. Memorable dining, and we will return.
