Visited New Delhi Restaurant in SF and had a mostly good experience. The Bombay Saffron Bhuna Lamb was fresh and very tasty, and it was served with pulao and naan, which was a nice touch. The Murg Akbari was average and just okay. The Keema Kulcha was disappointing, as it tasted more like a butter naan with hardly any keema filling. The Lucknow Pulao was good and well-prepared. The service was good, and the ambiance was excellent, making the overall dining experience pleasant.

Atmosphere is great ! Good lighting, great interiors. Service was also really good ! Great staff. I ordered mixed grilled plate and Chai. Chai was really good that I ended up ordering 2 of them. The grilled plate was under cooked and ended up giving an upset tummy for 1.5 days.

Dining at New Delhi Restaurant in San Francisco was a truly memorable experience that beautifully blended elegance, flavor, and hospitality. From the moment we arrived, we were transported into a space that felt both luxurious and deeply rooted in Indian tradition. The ambiance was serene and refined, making it the perfect setting for an intimate dinner or upscale group gathering. The cocktail menu was exceptional! Each drink was not only thoughtfully crafted, but could also be transformed into a refreshing mocktail without compromising taste or presentation. This level of flexibility and detail speaks volumes about their commitment to a wide range of guests. When it came to the cuisine, New Delhi exceeded every expectation. Every dish was a masterclass in balance, with spices that awake

I am a pure vegetarian and here are the things we tried: 1. Chilli cheese pakora - thinking it to be an authentic delhi based restaurant, the pakoras were okayish and salty. There were jalapenos instead of chilli and no hint of spicy at all. However they were just okayish. 2/5 2. Gujarati bund gobhi chana- this was also okay and had a homely flavour but quantity is very less. 3/5 3. Paneer cheese stuffed naan - this was flavour ful and soft. 4/5 4. Masala garlic naan - this was not at all what I expected. They had some garlic powder put on the naan instead of actual garlic. Okayish. 3/5 5. Nimbu paani - i thought if the name is typical indian then the taste should be too. However, it's same as store bought concentrated lemon juice mixed with soda. 2/5 Overall, the food was okay but the o

My friend and I loved New Delhi Restaurant & Bar. On the outside, this restaurant resembles a charming little destination, but we were surprised by the beautiful and large interior that greeted us. Inside is a classic bar and behind a large ball room with carefully decorated set tables. The service we had was spot on. We both had water glasses that never went empty, and I had a wonderful mango lassi that I had to have seconds of. The food was delicious, plentiful and well priced! We had naan bread, sizzling Chicken Tikka, and the Chicken Pepper Curry. All the flavors were warm, the smells heavenly and the atmosphere and service added a warming feeling to the dinner experience. The owner came to welcome us and it was such a nice experience we will absolutely be back again with friends. If y
