I’m surprised this place is so popular compared to so many better pizzerias and Italian restaurants nearby, like Gianni who makes a far superior Grand Ma’s pizza like a Detroit style with crispy cheese edges called frico or ViaSposito who makes a great personal pizza. Their pizza is still confusing to me. It’s great when it’s freshly cooked but after an hour, the dough becomes very chewy and not palatable. I’ve yet to figure out why this happens. Their salad pizza is basically salad tossed onto baked dough, very odd I’ve finally figured out why their dough is chewy after sitting at room temp. It’s the type of wheat used. Typically pizza dough is made with 00 flour which is a soft wheat. Hard wheat which has a higher protein content, like bread flour, tends to be chewy. Their garlic knot

Absolutely fantastic Italian food. John and Angela have been here for many decades. They have that “secrete family recipe” quality that only first generation Italians have. They are by far the best Italian restaurant in Middletown, Red Bank and the surrounding area. We are lucky enough to be in their delivery radius. It’s addicting good.

The food is absolutely fabulous at an amazing price for what you get! There are plenty of options for everyone & is an incredibly clean & calm atmosphere. The staff is super friendly. Went for both my parents birthdays 🎈 & believe it may just be our go to spot from now on. Highly recommend for great Italian. 2 👍🏻!

Amazing food. We had our boys birthday party catered - the food was so delicious! The pasta was all home made, not out of a box, and so flavorful ⭐️ The cannolis are some of the best I’ve had in a long time …. All our guests loved the food. Thank you Angela for taking care of our fam!

Good food, great people 9/28/23= new experience, Buffalo Pizza excellent, garlic knots dry, egg plant parm tasteless, Buffalo wings, well soupy. This writer needs suggestions on excellent Italian, no more mediocre.
