New China Restaurant

No issues - l just don’t like the taste of the food. We ordered takeout on Sunday and got 4 different dishes and some Spring and Egg Rolls. I ordered online and they did text me after the fact with a later pickup time but it only went from 1:21 to 1:33 so nothing major. The sesame chicken was decent and my wife really liked her shrimp with lobster sauce. The rolls were decent - not great but decent. My Kung Pao chicken tasted weird - instead of a brown sauce with chili peppers it tasted like some kind of red hot sauce was added. The same thing with the chicken lo mein - it just didn’t taste very good - not sure exactly why. If you like the taste of the food - please support this business. It was hot and packaged well with no issues on order accuracy.

I LOVE New China food! I live close by & order take out here a lot. I have never been disappointed… food is always tasty, fresh, & hot!!! 😋 The sesame chicken combo is one of my favorites - large portion for only $12.95!! 🙌🏻 It comes with an egg roll, a crab rangoon, 🦀 wonton soup, fortune cookie 🥠 and your choice of white rice or fried rice. 🍚 Thanks for the yummy food!!! ❤️ PS. I think they still deliver but there is a delivery fee so I save the $ and pick up.

I used to order delivery and pickup here regularly even during covid. Now, at the end of 2025, the quality has declined. In most recent years, I have ordered the pepper steak a few times and sadly it only had two slices of steak with mostly peppers and onions. My husband has ordered numerous types of their chicken dishes and the taste just was not what it used to be in addition to the lack of actual meat. I understand that times are hard but this is pretty insulting. Unfortunately I have been on the search for a better takeout spot to replace New China. I just cannot continue to spend the little spare money I have on something I don't even enjoy.

The food was awful. The pork was way overcooked and the Lo Mein was undercooked. The rice looked burnt and was not edible. The flavor was also terrible. I have never gotten Chinese food that I didn't like... until now!

This place looks the same, but they must be under new ownership. The last time I thought the food was off a bit. This time will be my last time. I do not see it being open much longer with this type of food. It even looks unpleasing. This is hunan chicken does not resemble hunan chicken. The egg row was even bad. Throwing it all away. I have never had food this bad.
