I like the food. Is always fresh and hot. Second time I ordered a to go. Idk about the atmosphere and service but looks like ok. For me the food taste great as some Chinese restaurants in downtown Boston.

Ordered $80 worth of takeout and the lady said it usually takes 10 minutes. I thought she was joking but it actually took like 13. I don't know how they're so fast. What's pretty odd is they don't have different sizes for any dishes. Eggroll and spring roll comes with 2 per order. Eggroll - It tasted ok but odd. Mostly cabbage and ground meat. Soft and not crunchy at all. I don't usually like eggrolls to begin with though I like spring rolls. Spring roll - Very big. It tastes decent but is a bit oily inside and is about 95% cabbage and 5% carrot. Absolutely nothing else in it. Boneless ribs - Good flavor but very dry and not charred. The food was great, probably one of the better Chinese restaurants. Everything tasted fresh and was well-prepared. I loved the egg rolls and pork fried rice. The vegetarian dishes were also properly vegetarian and did not taste of meat or oyster sauce. The tofu tasted fresh like it was fried in-house. However, here is our New Years experience: My family placed two scheduled online orders for New Years Eve. The kitchen was swamped, and orders were not prepared in the order of pickup time (for example, people who ordered later sometimes got their food before people who ordered earlier). Our order was placed around 2 PM and scheduled for 6 PM, but it took until 7:44 PM to get all of our food. Visited here, July 2025. The fruit flies were delicious. There were so many of them that the server gave us these tennis racket shaped bug killers. It made for a great ambience.

I had seen some less than stellar reviews, but they were all a few years old. I just moved back to the area after being gone more than a decade and I was pleasantly surprised how much it reminded me of when I used to dine here in the past. The food was good, well cooked, and I will be going back. If you are looking for local American Chinese the new China Pacific will hit the spot.
