New Asia Halal Foods

I went on a Saturday because I wanted to order goat from their African selections. I was disappointed when the hostess told me that only the Chinese menu was available. From their lunch special menu I ordered the General chicken which included choice of steamed rice or fried, rangoon or egg roll and soup for $10.95 which is a bargain considering it's a weekend. The hot & sour soup was spot on with flavor and heat. General chicken was okay (in presentation & flavor) doused in sweet sauce, steamed rice not warm. Overall, it's fair, I wouldn't go back because there are places in town that offer better.

Having no knowledge of what Halal was, I wanted chinese and it was very close to my job. Was planning on taking an order to-go but sat in once I saw the lunch special and the price. The food was amazing, great portions, and having done research on what Halal was, made me enjoy the restaurant even more. I'm not a Peta supprter by any means, but I would like to support more Halal style establishments. These guys have my eternal business for sure

I ordered takeaway chicken cashew nut and mangolian chicken and they gave me peanuts. Taste was horrible. Really plain. Roll was also really saggy.

First time here. Very peaceful! AC was amazing. No funky smells. Staff was friendly. Food was good. Fried rice was a little dry. General chicken was good but felt like it was missing an ingredient. Would definitely come back! Egg roll was nice & fat.
