Nevada Public Library

I like having the library in town for convenience when I need to use a printer since I don’t have one at home. I love the library, but I’m rating 4 stars because an older woman that works at the library is very…..grumpy. Almost every time I go there, she’s there. She strikes me as a nice woman, but I fear to ask her any questions because I feel like I’m being treated like a child when she answers me..everyone else is very nice and helpful when I need to add money to my account, or I just have a general question. But when it’s just her there, I would rather solve the problem I have by myself than ask her a simple question so I don’t get a not-so-simple response.

We just moved to the area and the staff at the library was super sweet and very helpful in what I needed to accomplish. They also provided information to help me gain knowledge of the library and community. Much much better than the library we moved from in another state!!!

I have found new authors here. They don't tend to carry more than a couple books by favorite authors but it's very comforting to have a lovely library here.

Love the summer reading program at the library. Today, Dickerson Park Zoo came to show off some animal ambassadors!!! The kids had a blast!
