Neillsville Library

It's very nice having a local place to rent books and some media. Having computers available to the public is also very nice. The few books I had in mind were all out, which is kind of to be expected with limited options right in the library. It feels kind of small and empty in here now with the rearrangement, but I like how organized everything is!

Listed on the Local Register of Historic Places, the Neillsville Public Library building was built with funds donated by Andrew Carnegie. The building has been expanded but tastefully done. The selection is surprisingly diverse for a small-town library, and the staff are happy to assist with ordering books from other libraries. If you're a regular, they'll get to know you by name. There are a few computers with internet access for use by sign-up.

We love the library! It's a great place for the kids, of course. We rent movies & books plus they have craft/activity bags for the kids sometimes!

The librarians are super sweet❤️ it's a small town library with small town feels... If they don't have it in stock and it's not something that's checked out, they'll have it brought it from elsewhere❤️

Very helpful and friendly. They also got the book I wanted within a short time frame.
