NDSU Parking and Transportation Services

One of the most power-hungry departments on campus. Been displaying my permit the same way for 3 years and got a ticket one day so I appealed because I've never even had a warning. BUT in my appeal they said they gave me warning for improperly displaying my permit in a PAY LOT (Memorial) !!! Where you don't even use permits. Funny thing is, your permit number is printed on your citation ticket and your license plate/car/VIN are all tied to your permit so they know you have one even if you forget to display or if it's "improperly displayed". This department definitely needs to be reformed/changed but I'm sure it never will since everyone's heads are up their own - 🫢

The most useless office on campus. Never get cleaning done in winter and parking lots are full of snow. To clean other lots they just dump all the student cars on NQ lot and I don't have a place to park even though I have my permit for $185. The only purpose of the parking office existence is to award students with $20 ticket, shame on you.

The idea of awarding college students tickets at a University they pay thousands for is another issue. My problem is how the talk to you when you call them or go in person. No one there wants to do their job is embarrassing how lazy and rude they are

The worst parking services ever. Purchased a ticket for the whole day, and for some reason, I felt really sick. As I called the NDSU PARKING AND TRANSPORTATION office. I was told there’s no refund. And literally $16 of that day is out of the window. It’s complete rip-off.

Rude and not helpful. Sent an unclear email of where I was able to park and when I called to talk with them about it was met with a very rude lady. Was told to appeal my ticket and have not heard anything back. I’m all for parking enforcement but parking lots here are very confusing and things need to be made more clear or they need to be helpful.
