Fresh out of the hospital and newly released from surgery, I knew exactly what my body needed first: something nourishing, comforting, and reliable. Naturally, that led me straight to NaYa in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The experience began with a minor hiccup—my pickup order was placed on the delivery shelf instead of the designated pickup area. That said, the situation was quickly smoothed over when a staff member stepped in and assisted both a delivery driver and myself with ease and patience. If you know me MR OH LAWD you already KNOW I love a good bowl, and NAYA had me locked in today. I grabbed the braised beef bowl AND the chicken shawarma, and let me tell you… OH LAWD. The braised beef? Fall-apart tender. Juicy. Seasoned. It tasted like it slow-cooked its way straight into my heart. Then the chicken shawarma? Perfectly seasoned with that warm spice that hits you right away. Not dry, not bland just straight flavor. Everything was fresh, the veggies were crisp, and the bowl was packed like they actually cared. Healthy, flavorful, and it didn’t feel heavy exactly what I need when I’m outside reviewing spots all day. NAYA is officially MR OH LAWD approved especially that braised beef and chicken shawarma combo.

For some food from here and it was good. Steps from the L, seating inside with a nice mural. Vegetarian options are available. Nice staff and quick service. The father was ok and the pumpkin appetizer was good.

I ordered via Grubhub for my lunch. They used a different service to deliver the food unfortunately when it got to me, it was not hot. However, the portion was a good size, tasty and fulfilling. I ordered the beef NAYA bowl & a namoura as the desert which for $4 was SO SMALL, the size of a starburst. Would I go there again, yes but I’d go to the store.

Great chicken shawarma! Everything from rice to vege to chicken are so fresh! Highly recommended!
