Native Grill & Wings

My fiancé has eaten at Native’s before, but this was my first time trying it, and unfortunately, it’ll probably be my last. To start, my wings came out cold because they were sitting on top of cold celery. My fiancé ordered onion rings, it was an upcharge for the substitution and only got 5 small onion rings, and when she bit into one, it was completely filled flour. She also got the fish fry, which was slimy after biting and I tried a piece to see and it tasted terrible. On top of that, our waitress barely checked on us. She mentioned they had her busy in back, but she left our section unattended for a long time, so we couldn’t even address the issues with our food. Overall, it was a really disappointing experience. Tried out Native and the staff was super welcoming. The bartender quickly cleaned a spot for me, the wings were only 79 cents on Tuesday, and even though I accidentally ordered them extra crispy, the flavors were still on point and the whole vibe was perfect for a chill night out.

A nice place with terrible service. Tables nice and big for a social gathering. Glasses stayed dry for a while and fries soggy, unsure where food order or waitress went. Had to find someone else for assistance after a while. The burgers were a bit smaller than I imagined, with a medium-temperature requested burger completely well done with a hard egg yolk ball. It was upsetting after asking the waitress several times to make sure it was the medium burger (she may have switched plates or more likely the kitchen got the order wrong). Burger was still good tasting, just the order was off. The rest of the group had decent food and the company was the best part. Just wish the restaurant did better. They were busy, but not very.

I need to thank Amber(manager, not sure if that is her name) for being willing to assist with the online app. She sat down with me, walked me through on how to correct the name on profile. Later, I found out my husband wrote a review that was incorrect. Customers can be wrong. I truly owe her an apology. I hope you all see this post. She is amazing, kind, friendly and most of all welcoming. I have eaten at Native Grill every other day because of her kindness. Thank you for being in our community.

Something needs to be done about their online ordering system. It’s completely unreliable. Like most people in Maricopa, I work up in Phoenix. I use the app and place an order to pick up dinner on the way home. I do it in the morning so I don’t forget. WHY do you send out an email 10 minute before the pick up time saying the order didn’t process. Again, when it’s an hour drive home home from work, you’re not going to be checking your emails while driving. Even if I was already in town, I don’t think that is enough time. I understand that no program is 100% perfect but in the less then a year I have lived here in town, it’s been 5-6 times this has happened. The food is good but I’m not waiting til 9-10 at night for food because your app can’t work properly
