Nation’s Giant Hamburgers & Great Pies

Extremely friendly staff and an unexpectedly good meal right off the highway. Great burgers, crispy fries and the shakes were THICC! Plenty of desserts to choose from. Cute, clean, and more convenient than waiting in line at in & out to have an equally good burger and better fries. Will definitely be back!

Many of the 1 star reviews talk about the service and burger size, claiming that staff is unfriendly and that the burgers are small... What are they talking about??? First off, the burgers are great! Very full and tasty, giving that homemade feel that you can't get anywhere else except here and home. The service is also great! Staff here are so friendly, with warm smiles and greets, and casual conversations and jokes among eachother that uplift a light atmosphere and joyful environment. The staff here genuinely seem to enjoy their time serving customers, with a genuine attentiveness and enthusiasm. Thank you to the lovely woman and 2 men behind the counter!! 🫶🫶🫶 So if you don't like it, you're either crazy or need to be kicked in the butt!! Come try this place out! I had my expectations

I've been going to Nations in San Pablo, CA since the 80s. I was so glad to find out they opened in Elk Grove. We went here today, my 66th birthday. This branch is so clean. The staff are so helpful and nice/polite. The pies are great as expected. I have nothing to complain about. I'll just keep recommending this place. They have breakfast meals to check out too. Thank you, Nations for making Elk Grove another home.

First visit. Tiny hamburger joint with good burgers and fries and not wait in long line for a car order. Came at 12 on a Thursday and able to get a table for two in compact space. Lots of take out orders in progress. At it got busier looks like they could use another hand. I forgot to take a photo of my take out lemon creme pie which took me back to my childhood of "house of pies" Delicious! Will definitely come back. Glad there is a close to home option for breakfast burritos made to order!

Nations Elk Grove just opened a few weeks ago, and they’re already becoming the spot for burgers! I grew up going to Nations in the Bay Area as a little girl, so I’m thrilled they’re finally here in the Grove. The store is very clean and well maintained. Right when you walk in, you’re greeted by all the delicious pies on display. We ordered our food and had it in about 6 minutes—super fast! The burgers were absolutely outstanding. I got two bacon cheeseburgers with fries and drinks, and everything was fresh and flavorful. Kudos to the cook and the whole team. What I also loved is how attentive the staff was. They came to clean the table for my mom and me, which made our visit even more enjoyable. The manager was so kind and even helped us sign up for their rewards program. I love that th
