National Coney Island - Fraser

Who puts cheese on a turkey blt sandwich. Not busy at all still took 15 min to get my very simple order. Chili fries were old and cold. Everything i have come to expect from this archaic food spot.

Sadly, I will never be coming back to this location ordered here tonight about 45 minutes to an hour before closed ordered a Coney special with the lemonade. Once my wife returned home with the food. I instantly noticed that the Coney dog was extremely heavy open it and there’s chili almost fallen out of the container. The lemonade wasn’t even lemonade. It tasted like a mixture of water with lemon seems like the only person that ever got my order right was the older Burnett or blonde woman that’s there in the morning.

I am beyond fed up with this place!!! I’ve always loved Hani’s but every single time we order from here - which is already WAY overpriced…. I get maybe 4 little pieces of chicken 😡 Tonight was the last straw- will never ever go back!! My husband ordered fish & chips - it MAKES you pick 2 sides or you can’t check out. Just wasted 25 min on hold with them because they gave no tartar sauce and no salad (never mind my $12-$13 hani with a few pc of chicken again 🙄). But because THEIR system didn’t print ‘salad’ on the ticket … that’s our problem! Talked to a manager who was beyond unhelpful and could care less. No “let’s try to make it right… come back up here during rush hour to get the rest of your order…” NOTHING!!! So now cold fish and chips - NO sauce or salad and wasted all that time i

The food is a little subpar these days, even for a cheap diner spot. Not much has changed in all their years. Sadly, our hot fudge cream puff was very stale. And, we gotta get a dairy free ice cream on the menu. Meijer is right there, too. ;) Breyer's dairy free vanilla ice cream blends into a shake like perfection. But the wait staff is always the BEST. They have such great attitudes including top-tier professionalism, are fun, and have tips/tricks for us diners.

The food is always great, people fast and friendly, with an outside seating area here.
