Naruto Ramen is in a great location, though it has very limited seating. It honestly feels just like being in Japan! There’s a waiting list outside where you have to write your name down on a paper, we waited about 10-15 minutes, which wasn't bad at all. The experience wasn't disappointing because the staff was accommodating from the start. It’s very entertaining because they cook the food right in front of you! It’s definitely a busy spot, but I can see why people love it. We ordered the karaage and the Naruto ramen, and both were honestly worth it.
Yeni was attentive and gracious, setting a welcoming tone right from the start. The miso vegetable ramen was comforting and full of flavor, while the fried chicken wings had a unique twist that made them stand out. The shrimp ramen was outstanding, spicy and tangy at the same time, with the veggie gyoza and edamame rounding out the meal perfectly. If you enjoy cozy hole in the wall spots with freshly prepared ramen and pho, Naruto in New York City is well worth a visit.
It's a warm and small environment. The food is flavorful and the waiters are very nice. I do not recommend bringing a lot of people as it is a bit of a cramped space (3 is fine). But this is how some ramen spots in Japan are and appreciate it being a small place. I had the Naruto Ramen, hence the name of the restaurant. The paintings on the wall are anime themed and is a fun place to go for a reasonable price.
Date of visit: 10/11/25 Been going here for years, but hadn't had the time to make a review. This is a Japanese style Ramen restaurant with some dumplings, fried rice selection. Space is very limited and tight. Mostly counter seating, and a 2 seater by the window. Do not come in large groups. Prefer 2 people, 3 people max. Lines and wait can get a bit long especially during winter. Overall, good quality ramen, for the price it's not bad. 100% recommend. Hard to find parking at times, especially during weekdays. Weekends are better.
Ramen texture was perfect. I had the original with added spice and it was good to just give a kick. Service was smooth and good. Booth seatings were bit cramped and there are some seats near the fryer. But overall a cheerful place to have a quick meal.
