Always wanted to go.. Maybe my expectations was just high.. been to another location before ans loved it. We had the steak tips. My wife ordered the steql tips with the blue cheese and grilled onions.. onions were raw as of they touched them for a few seconds.. My tips we over cooked as I ordered medium rare.. We had a reservation for 6 and they put us at a table for 4 when the whole place was empty. the couple next to use sitting alone at a table for 8 switched woth us.. I may go back buy not on my top 10 liat.
We have been here a couple times and a friend that comes over to play board games will stop there for a drink on his walk back home and it's between our places. Nice little pub with a decent selection of things to eat. Doesn't have the best food ever but it's good for a quick bite or if you need some appetizers with your drink. It's nice that it's one of the many options in Norwood and if you can't find parking right in front of it, there is as lot right after it on the left. So parking is never a concern either.
Rappers is one of those local bars / rest8that everyone goes to even if you're not local. Fair prices, cold beer, there's even pool in the basement. The food is consistently good and often like a gourmet restaurant menu plus all the normal pub foods. I had to ding the service though in going to Napa's for about 10 years there's always problems with the service being slow. It's like they don't have enough people running the bar and the restaurant side.
Napper Tandy’s was a decent restaurant. The burgers were well cooked and the drinks were great. I was a little dissapointed with the quesadilla having all the corn and beans on the side instead of in it, but other than that I would return.
Unique in that it has 2 sides. Go right and its more of an Irish Pub experience. Drinkers, sports, a little louder. Go left and it's more subdued. Tables and bar with a fire place. And quieter. Service was great and food was excellent. Reuben was delicious. Stacked high with very tender corned beef. Fries were good. Maybe a little more crispy wouldbe nice. Overall meal was good and prices reasonable. Would definitely recommend.
