NANBEI GOURMET

We’ve(my bf and I) been there many times and this place is absolutely underrated. They have the best and authentic spicy beef I’ve ever had in China town. This is one thing we have to get every time when we go eat there. Nothing can’t beat this quality and price. Their soup bao is also great. If you like spicy and authentic food, definitely try it. And the auntie there is always sweet and loving, specially now with her new hairstyle, we love her. atl没有任何地方能超越这里的水煮牛！

Nanbei Gourmet is one of the places in the food court that sells pork soup dumplings ($8-$10 I forgot). It took around 10-20 minutes and comes in a steel steamer. There's a sauce and condiment station if you want spicy chili oil, vinegar, or soy sauce. They also have free water and hot tea. The skin was really thin and easy to break. Make sure you eat these quick before they cool down and the skin hardens. I think they were alright for the price but definitely not the best or top tier soup dumplings.

Still consistently the best quality and quantity for the money of all Chinese places in Atlanta. October 2025 prices $13 for eight treasure tofu (beef, chicken, squid, crableg, shrimp, fish, tofu) and $12 for spicy beef (very spicy!), with rice, enough to feed six people.

One of the best Chinese food I had. So authentic and so much flavor. It is better than good harvest in my opinion.

Excellent new addition to the food court in Chinatown. The double cooked pork is one of the best dish that I ever had. Very traditional with belly pork, crispy, very tasty with some green spicy peppers, black beans and cabbage. The portions are very large with very decent prices. The soup dumplings are really delicious. I think it is the best restaurant in food court and definitely my go to place now!
