Nana's Country Kitchen

First, there aren't many options in this town. So after a Google search of restaurants near me this is the place that came up. Based on the photos it looked like a clean down home kind of place to have lunch. Upon entering the restaurant it was clean, not busy, and the air conditioning definitely worked. We were promptly greeted and our drinks came quickly. It was my sister and i, and we both ordered the beer battered fish basket. Our server Jay H was super friendly and super fast. But when our food came the disappointment sat in. Our fish was overcooked so the breading was really hard, and there was barely any fish inside. The french fries were soft and greasy. The coleslaw wasn't horrible, but not zesty enough for my taste so it was left uneaten. When Miss Jay walked by she must have see

Nice little diner with great food. Best pot roast , cheese steaks, great omelets. In my opinion the best diner in our area.

Always great food and service excellent local hole in the wall im a plaza tlwhich half the businesses can't survive, so kudos!! I always really enjoy they're "creek bed" tables too!

My first time here. I was looking for a good place for breakfast while waiting on my animals at the clinic. I happened to stumble upon this place and decided to try it instead of another choice I was going to check out. Boy, I'm glad I did! The food was so good, coffee was nice, hot, fresh and good flavor, atmosphere was welcoming and the staff was super friendly!!! Highly recommend this little place back in the old Kmart plaza behind McDonald's. 😋😋😋🤤🤤🤤👍👍👍 p.s. I'm used to getting 2 pieces of bacon usually at other places I've been to so I ordered double meat........ haha big mistake! That's a ton of bacon!!!! It's so good though! :)
