Nalak Thai

Cool restaurant with fancy decor and lighting. Seemed hip and modern. We ordered several dishes, including french fries. Out of all the dishes, I like the fries the best - they had the right texture and bite, and fresh out of the frier. While the service and atmosphere were good, the other food dishes did not wow me. They were mid and passable but didn't have that 'delicious' flavor I was hoping it for, sorry to say. I am still giving it three stars for everything else and maybe your taste in food is different than mine.

The restaurant was neat and clean, and the staff were very friendly. As for the food, I think my expectations were a bit too high. The Tom Yum Mama soup portion was much smaller than what was shown in the picture. The Pad Thai was too sweet, and the drunken noodles were a bit bland. Overall, the dishes were fairly pricey, and unfortunately they didn’t taste very authentic to me.

We had such a great experience at Nalak Thai! The vibes were warm and inviting, and the decorations were beautiful. We ordered the chicken larb, shrimp lo mein noodles, and beef tender noodle soup, plus a tiramisu matcha cloud latte. Everything was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. Our server was incredibly friendly and attentive. We’ve actually seen her at another restaurant before, and she recognized us right away when we walked in and greeted us, which made us feel so welcomed! Overall, we’re very happy with our visit and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Nalak Thai is a gorgeous restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, great looking food, and attentive staff. We enjoyed our time here and will be coming back. We ordered the Moo Ping which was very tasty. It had a great grilled flavor and the sweet and sour sauce was a nice touch. We also got a side of peanut sauce, and I highly recommend getting that too for the Moo Ping. For our entree we got the Laad Na with a side of white rice. It was cooked well, fresh ingredients, but lacked flavor. It felt like something was missing, maybe a little salt? Not sure, but we mixed it with the sauces from the Moo Ping and it helped. The matcha flight was very lovely and it was nice to try the different flavors. I was a frequent visitor to the previous restaurant, and I can confidently say that Nalak Thai is far more than just a replacement. The new owners have completely remodeled and refreshed everything, and the result is outstanding. Nalak Thai is hands down one of the best Thai dining experiences I’ve had. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and genuinely charming. It feels like a modern Thai café you’d stumble into in Bangkok. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. Zinny, who many regulars will recognize from the previous restaurant, is still there and remains one of the kindest and most patient people you could hope to meet.
