Homemade pita, a unique cocktail list, and beautiful dishes from Executive Chef Giuseppe Agostino — it’s easy to see why this was named Best New North Jersey Restaurant for 2025. The space is absolutely stunning. From the moment you walk in, it feels like you’ve been transported to Greece — right here in North Jersey. I love that they offer different dining rooms, each with its own vibe. You really have to explore them all. They also have belly dancing on Fridays and Saturdays, live music every Wednesday, live Greek music every Thursday, and free valet parking on Fridays and Saturdays — which makes the whole experience feel like a true night out. Now the food… 10/10. The homemade pita was simple but exceptional — soft, warm, and on a level you rarely find. The lobster was outstanding;

In northern New Jersey and the New York Metro area, probably the best Greek food we’ve had. A lot of the recipes seem traditional, but are “elevated“ in unique ways. Having visited Greece a few times, this is one of the few restaurants in the area that really brings back a lot of the flavors we enjoyed when traveling. All of the dishes from the mezze section were excellent. Mocktails were quite decent as well. Atmosphere and personal attention from the manager and hostess were exceptional. We didn’t get to see the prefixed menu options (we will go back next time for this because when we looked at it later, the choices were great). Portion sizes were quite good. Also, because the kitchen makes a lot of the dishes from raw ingredients, I’d recommend getting all the big parts of your order

Took my sister for her bday. We were sat pretty quickly. Waiter was courteous but seems like he was having an off day. Didn’t come too often to check on us. Someone else came by and asked how we were but just the question almost forced and not genuine. I said fine although my plate was full and I did not look happy. The trio sampler was mid but the pita was really good. We asked for extra and never got it. We asked for it 3X and never came. The lamb meatballs were dry, the shrimp in filo wrapping was great! The stuffed lobster was also mid. The chicken was as juicy but flavorless. It took long for him to come by for the dessert menu. The table next to us had a chocolate cake that looked divine but hadn’t really been touched. I asked how it was and they said “total disappointment since it’s

My girlfriends and I came there on Saturday night. It’s very modern Greek restaurant. Food was great, show was amazing. Those dancers made our night - such a beautiful belly dance show. Thank you for this amazing experience. We definitely wanna come back

5 stars all round. Beautiful atmosphere, live music, great service and delicious food. My mom and I came in an hour late (accidentally) thinking our reservation was at 7 but it was 6. The nice young girl who I’m assuming is the manager still found us a table within 5 minutes. I couldn’t help but notice her doing a little bit of everything the rest of the night as well (running food, bussing, seating people, filling water, etc). She was all over the place working. Clearly they care about running a good restaurant here. For me personally, the food needs to be good for me to come back. Not just good service and atmosphere - and as mentioned everything we had was amazing. My family and I will come to mykos for a long time
