Customer Reviews
First time here and we ordered the bbq chicken pizza. The pizza was definitely overcooked, making the chicken extremely dry and hard to chew. The atmosphere was cool and staff were friendly. I do agree with others who complain about prices not being displayed. That would be extremely helpful to the customer. Yeah, we could ask but who wants to continually ask for pricing for multiple items on the menu? It’s a little inconvenient for me, the customer and you, the employee. While we were there another customer was actually complaining about the price of his calzone, which happened to be $30. I think we paid $30 or so for a 14” pizza and 2 fountain drinks.
Stopped in for a Slice, 6-wings and Mex Coke 500ml. The pizza slice looked and tasted old - couldn't even taste or see any sauce. Bottom was totally Burnt. Wings had hardly any sweet and sassy sauce - Thanks for not charging me for 1 extra ranch as their ranch portion is extremely small. Best part of this meal was the ice cold Coke de Mexico... $24.71 for an old slice of pizza, tasteless wings and an ice cold Coca-Cola in a glass bottle... Unfortunately, I can't say I'll be running back here anytime soon.
My brother was visiting from out of town, and he wanted to go to his favorite pizzeria from his old neighborhood, My Slice Pizzeria. I'm so glad he did, because we had a fantastic experience. From the start, the person behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. We were deciding between Carne Asada and Al Pastor. She suggested half/half and both were outstanding. This is truly NYC Pizza done in a Southwestern style. I'm from New Jersey, so the crust is as important to me as the toppings. Without a doubt, My Slice has authentic NYC crust. Their history as a standout pizza choice is still true today. If there is new ownership, congratulations for keeping the same ingredients, recipe and pizza chefs. An absolutely delicious pizza, without a doubt.
I didn't realize it but this was my second visit to "My Slice of Pie " I had previously attended a Yelp Elite event for the business. I do so many reviews I had forgotten but, I saw the sign and it must of triggered a memory so I stopped. The sign on the window states "Best NY Style pizza in Arizona " and I am here to tell you it is true!!! This hidden gem has legit NY style pizza and is the best I have tried in Arizona to date I ordered a slice of sausage and it was pizza perfection it was crispy on the edges just the way I like it the undercarriage of the slice was charred just right. The slice had zero flop their dough is crisp and light they use quality mozzarella and sausage. On the "Dave Portnoy" scale I give this slice a solid 8.5 and if you watch him you know it's a great score!
They sure keep the prices a mystery. $4.45 for a can of Jumex 😵💫 Nowhere on the menu or counter were prices listed, and nothing was mentioned when I ordered. This lack of transparency feels misleading. Restaurants should be upfront with their pricing—especially for something as simple as a canned drink. It left a bad impression. Pizza was ok, but being scammed sure left a bad taste in my mouth. Response to their response, I showed a picture of your whole menu to show how there isn’t any prices listed ANYWHERE…. I even grabbed the menu on the counter and still showed no prices. I stood their for a few minutes with the dilemma to order wings or not but was confused to what anything costed. This import beverage you speak of is .79 cents at your local grocery store. Stating I could’ve asked
