My Daddy's Bar-B-Que

Came hear hunger after doing the Hunter Peak Trail at Guadalupe. Got myself their beef brisket sandwich and my oh my it melted in my mouth! It was so so good. Please do come here when you are in the area.

Used door dash or I would have walked up to window and gotten a refund! Burnt, dry, brisket which looked like chipped beef. Even the not visibly burnt tasted burnt. It looked like chipped beef and was probably the scraps from the rest of the day. Pulled pork??? It was chunks of pork but tasted ok. Didn't get the extra sauce ordered and only 1 tiny cup of sauce each for 2 and 3 meat meals. Dinner roll was a slice of cheap wheat bread (1 per meal). Would have rated negative stars if possible.

Ordered 1 lb of sliced smoke sausage, and ½ lb sliced brisket. I know it was either microwaved or in a warmer for days. Moist could never be confused with the product I was given. My dogs got $25 worth of rubber meat. I don't bother even complaining the owner is Carlsbad's food health inspector, if he doesn't know the quality of his own food maybe he should inspect his own kitchen.

If I could give this place a ZERO star I would. Got 3 meats & 2 sides with a dinner roll in a to-go container for like $23 … it looked like I ordered 1 meat there was hardly anything in the container. It looked like a cafeteria plate, just pathetic. The service was rude, they got my meal together within a minute because it was all pre-paid garbage. I wanted money back but it was so awkward, I told the lady “is this it? I thought there was more seeing how I ordered 3 meats.” She goes “yeah, it’s all in there. Ugh! Disgusting, waste of money & time. Food was terrible. Don’t waste your money or time trust me. I usually don’t give bad reviews but this one is well deserving.

I'm in town for work and just door-dashed 1/2 lb of brisket and half rack of ribs. OMG it is horrible, everything is bland, and its like chewing on rubber.
