MY CRAB SPOT

I’d give this place 10 stars if I could. I think we went at the perfect hour (around 3pm) of the day because we got a nice free parking spot very close to the restaurant. It was our first time there and we met JJ who’s the most friendliest and most welcoming host I’ve ever met. He helped with suggestions, took our order and got us drinks on the house which impressed me more about this place. Our order didn’t take long. The food was amazing! Taste was on point. Probably the best seafood place I’ve had the privilege of eating at. I don’t live in Syracuse but my daughter who was with me goes to school here and she added My Crab Spot at the top of her list for places to eat. We’ll definitely go back for more delicious food and great service.

I ordered my crab spot on Uber Eats. This was my first time ordering from them, and I would not recommend it. I ordered a half a pound of shrimp, sausage, broccoli, potatoes, and a half pound of crab legs. I got six shrimp, three potatoes, one crab leg claw that was very small, I got more sausage and broccoli than anything and the broccoli was overcooked. I paid $56 and to say that I’ve gotten more for less at other seafood spots is a shame. I see that there are good reviews in the fact that my very first experience was horrible, I will never order from these people again. I do not recommend. I also called them to rectify the situation and they never answered the phone.

Really good, really fresh really flavorful food. Very authentic spices. Friendly and helpful staff. We got a mixed seafood boil mixed fried seafood and a side of shrimp fried rice per staffs suggestion. She was right, it was excellent! As was everything else. They do events on Thursdays and have coupons in the takeout menus you get there. We will be back soon for sure!

New place 2 blocks from me so I HAD to try it. I’d say it’s solid. The catfish sandwich was tasty. The sauce was good and I really enjoyed the sweet potato fries. The cheese sticks were average. The wings were solid but lose points because the hot sauce was on the side. Drinks are from a cooler. Next time I eat here I’ll do takeout. It’s set up for that ( there are tables but you order at the counter.

Great hospitality, great food. The person working there recommended great choices for food and also gave us free drinks based on preferences. The drinks were refreshing, and the spice level for the seafood boil was just perfect. Highly recommend.
