Mutsu

This place is the definition of authenticity and quality. The interior design is beautiful. Cozy and elegant with a modern look. Even though they accept walk-ins, a reservation is highly encouraged for a better experience. The staff was super friendly and easy to talk to. Got seated right away, he even asked us our seating preference :) (closer to the chef the better). The manager was serving us and he explained the menu and personal favorites which were the wagyu uni hand roll, the wagyu yakitori and the sushi platter. Everything was delicious, fresh and perfectly balanced. Must check it out!

Everything here was perfect— from the design of the restaurant to the food. Beautiful presentation, top notch service (thank you Thomas!), and some of my favorite dishes I’ve had in recent memory. Every detail here seems to have a lot of consideration and love behind it. Considering the entire experience, the value is unbeatable. (Also—fantastic playlist!) I can’t wait to come back.

Mutsu is a gem! Whether for a date, girls night, or solo outing, it has the perfect ambiance for a night out. The decor is gorgeous and the music they play is very cool. The food was great also. Would definitely recommend the Chicken Yakitori, Cucumber Salad, and Spicy Tuna Handroll. I will definitely be back! :)

The experience was elevated and welcoming. The two chefs behind the counter were very friendly and talk to you a bit which was a nice addition to the very fresh and unique flavors the food offered. They’re still experimenting with some of the menu items so we will definitely be back to try it again.

Every bite was delicious! Every single thing we ate was so good. The eel and albacore rolls weee out of this world! Thank you Thomas for making it such a pleasurable experience. Was so nice to eat in a well designed space too, we felt like we were transported to another place.
