I've been here several times now to confirm my feelings and overall Must be Thai is an above average Thai food experience. Food: flavors are excellent, has some of the best versions of my favorite Thai dishes. My only complaint is that unlike an average Thai place, non-noodle dishes do not come with rice which is a little disappointing considering the price is higher than a typical Thai restaurant. This can often make the entree by itself feel too salty. At the very least the dishes are unique compared to a typical Thai restaurant which makes it an enjoyable experience. I was intimidated by the menu at first but our server, Oke, was so helpful and recommended the Singhal Chicken Curry. It was delicious!!! My husband got the Ribeye Surf & Turf Pad Thai and it was also SO good. The portion sizes were great & it was reasonably priced! Will definitely come back!

I got the Ribeye Surf and Turf Pad Thai. Steak and shrimp were made perfectly. Our server was Oke, he was super kind. Great food and staff! 10/10!

So happy that my favorite thai place in town has opened a new, beautiful space on san pedro. Based on our dinner experience yesterday the food is as top notch as the other location but the space is much more expansive! I believe it is just the soft opening for now so they are still working on their liquor license and may have a smaller menu available for now.
