I had been meaning to visit this restaurant for quite some time. We usually dine out on Fridays or Saturdays, and since they do not allow children on those days, it made planning a visit a bit challenging. I’ll admit, that policy initially felt a little unwelcoming to me. Still, I wanted to experience it for myself. We finally went for a Sunday lunch. Overall, the food was good, with a few highlights. The coconut shrimp truly stood out, beautifully presented, unique, and comforting with a lovely homestyle touch. I genuinely enjoyed it. The paanipuri was also attractively presented with a variety of paanis, which I appreciated. However, the filling felt a bit sparse; with only chickpeas, it lacked some texture and depth of flavor. The lamb Sufiyan biryani wasn’t particularly appetizing in
Wonderful birthday celebration at Musaafer on 1/29. Arrived a little before 5 and was seated at the bar for a 5:30 reservation. Which was perfect. The head bartender, a Lovely gentleman from Mumbai, gave us a tour of the bourbon and scotch selection and stated the evening off on the right foot. We started with a Shammi Old Fashioned. Very tasty and smooth. At the table Devin P guided our experience, made sure we were set for our courses and never wanted for anything. He answered our questions and explained everything with ease. He made great recommendations which we took him up on. Everything was excellent but the shrimp starter and the onion xuixo stood out to the party. Entrees were well balanced and we had just the right amount to eat for three people with three starters, naan, three
Went to Musaafer for their Valentine’s lunch and had a four‑course tasting menu that was really well done from start to finish. The experience felt special without being stuffy. The Tuji Skewers Tacos were fun and flavorful, with a nice balance of spice, sweetness from the dates, and a soft paratha that pulled it all together. Definitely my favorite. For the main course, Kosha Mangsho, everything was rich and comforting. The spices were deep but not overwhelming, and it felt like a solid, hearty dish that grounded the meal. Dessert, The Arrow of Amore (Malai Cherry), wife loved it but not a big chocolate fan. Waiter, Cedric was great also.... well informed on all dishes. Overall, Musaafer delivered a thoughtful, creative menu with great pacing and flavors. Perfect spot for a special o
Anniversary Lunch at Musaafer – A Thoughtful Michelin-Star Experience We chose Musaafer for our 3rd wedding anniversary lunch, and it turned out to be a memorable and well-executed fine-dining experience that truly reflects why the restaurant holds Michelin recognition. From the outset, the service stood out—warm, attentive, and genuinely celebratory. The staff acknowledged our anniversary with a signed card and a complimentary rosé, a thoughtful gesture that immediately elevated the experience beyond just the food. Our server Arina took care of all of our needs very well and helped us have the best experience. Food & Beverage: We ordered à la carte and were impressed by both flavor depth and presentation. Appetizers: Mithu’s Coriander Shrimp was bright, aromatic, and delicately balanc
We went here for our anniversary and it could not have been more perfect. We tried the tasting menu for the evening and it was 12 courses of absolute perfection. Every dish was delicious- a beautiful melody of Indian spices elevated to a refined level. I loved it all, and simply cannot pick one favorite. After our meal, Khadijah, the manager, gave us a fantastic tour of the restaurant and told us many intricate details of the interior design of place, which we very much appreciated. Also, shoutout to our server JP, who helped us have the best dining experience, giving us stories behind every dish. We would definitely return here and 10/10 would recommend to anyone.
