Murray's BBQ & Seafood in Lagrange, Nc

On yesterday I ate lunch at 1pm! I suffered for over 13 hours, and still suffering from food poisoning. Murray’s is the only thing I ate yesterday and I haven’t been able to eat anything since then. Doctor’s confirmed that I had no viruses and that I received food poisoning. I spoke with the manager and I believe I have followed all procedures. I am just letting everyone know that I received food poisoning from this establishment. Please know that this is not the first complaint toward this restaurant. The food is being handled poorly in some way. I hope that this issue can be resolved and no One else will suffer the way that I am. I am requesting that the owners and management investigate this matter properly. I am also wanting a refund!!!

By far, one of my favorite eateries! I get my smash on at Murray's at least 1-3 times per week. Not only do they have a nice variety of fried fish, green vegetables, and beans/peas, but Murray's is the only buffet spot that I've come across that has "pork-free" veggie options. The price is very reasonable and the service is always on point. No complaints whatsoever!!!

First impressions kept me from even going in the door. There were no cars in the lot, the grounds were unkept with junk piled near the entrance. The sign said open but I found someplace else to eat.

Food is ok not the best and definitely not the worse. The tea is absolutely delicious. Their vegetables are not seasoned that well and taste very very bland. Weekday buffet prices are spot on however, the weekend prices are outrageous especially as it relates to the quality of the food itself. My suggestion would be to only eat here Mon-Thursdays the prices on the weekend aren't worth it.

This place is unbelievable and not in a good way. I should have known from the 90.0 Sanitation grade, but you know some hole in the walls can be a rare find. First of all my waitress did not look up to part. When we got there she did not properly clean the table, she was cleaning up things off of the floor with her hands and then refilling drinks, reaching over our plates without washing her hands. When I asked for a drink refill she went and picked up the broom and dust pan and said she was going to get my drink… again without washing her hands. On top of all that my brother-in-law found hair under the skin of his fried chicken. When I asked for a member of management they sent me a cook from the kitchen. No one ever apologized or even came back to the table for any type of resolution. Th
