Murphy's Original Steak House

First time visiting after a visit to Osage Hills State Park. They give you a sample of their fries and gravy for your first visit, so you know what they’re famous for. I honestly don’t like gravy(nothing against theirs, just don’t like it in general), but hubs liked the sample. I got the bone in pork chops with a baked potato and green beans. Pork chops were good, but needed a sauce to go with them. Green beans were okay. Potato was good as well, but would recommend asking for your butter on the side. I got some of it off, but it looked like a full stick of butter. Hubs got a cheeseburger and fries, without gravy. He said he prefers a crispier fry, but it was just a preference, theirs were a different style. He enjoyed his burger. He got the cherry cobbler that he also enjoyed.

THE FAMOUS HOT HAMBURGER WITH CHEESE - GRAVY OVER ALL - 🤤🤤🤤 Classiest spot in Bartlesville. In over 40 years of eating here I’ve yet to be disappointed. I have however needed a nap after often times. If I were going to jail or heaven tomorrow, this would be my last meal request! Thank You! Thank You! Thank You Murphys!!

We went today 5/4/2025 for late lunch, early dinner. The food was very good. The waitress was on the ball. She did a great job. There was four of us. We all got something different. Everyone liked their food. I recommend going in and giving them a try . Plenty of food. I got the hamburger steak and mashed potatoes and green beans. Dessert , I got pecan pie. Mine was very good.

First time here, 3:00 Saturday afternoon very busy but seats available. Waitresses so sweet, everyone was so nice. Asked if we wanted a sample of fries and gravy, delicious. Food served extremely hot, fresh, no complaints!!! If back in Bartlesville I will stop here again for sure!!

This is an awesome little hidden gem. The food was phenomenal, service was outstanding. The sirloin steak was cooked perfectly. I ordered rare, but I got rare with a nice slightly crispy sear on the outside that added a nice unexpected touch. I got fries and a loaded baked potato that were also great, and I finished my meal with desert, a slice of chocolate pie that was to die for. If you are in, around, or passing through.... definitely need to stop here and check the place out, but get there early as it filled up pretty fast and quickly had a line/wait.
