Murn's Cafe

When I'm in Archer City I try to eat at Murn's for lunch whenever I can. It's a great little downtown diner with really good specials. I had a steak finger basket with home cooked fries and it was the best I've ever had!

Some friends in Seymour have eaten here a lot and recommended it so wife and I drove over and had breakfast. I had bacon, eggs, hash browns and b&g. Everything was cooked good except b&g was a little on the cool side but tasty. Wait staff was attentive and friendly, would definitely recommend this business!

I took my son to Archer City for a little father and son get out of the city R&R. After two hours of beautiful rolling green pastures, we arrived at a one light town with a square and courthouse just south of Wichita Falls. We stayed at The Spur Hotel which is a historic western but fixed up hotel that had rooms for a hundred bucks. But had everything we needed. We inquired about a gun range at the nearby town lake and were introduced to its caretaker Billy Burks. We offered to buy him lunch for meeting us and taking us to the range, where they have skeet, pistol and rifle options. But the most helpful advice he gave us was that when eating at Murn’s Cafe always order the Coconut Pie first because Murn only makes eleven pies and when they run out (and they do, quick!) that’s it and you

Walk in the sweet distinct smell of the food being prepared in the kitchen ordered a sweet tea and the taste of a southern made tea with no lemon is a party in my mouth the atmosphere and homely feel is amazing ordered 4oz chicken fried steak and fries I just love a southern hole in the wall restaurant that has an amazing feel to it

I am old. The BEST chicken fried steak was made for me yesterday morning at breakfast time! The servers are always friendly and the restaurant clean.
