Mumbai Express Indian Kitchen

Picked up lunch here on a whim because the Indian restaurant I was trying to go to was closed. Best decision ever, this place is such a gem! The service was great, guy behind the counter gave me a sample of their masala chai out of the blue and everyone was very friendly. Food is delicious and comes at a very reasonable cost. Only a bit disappointed that my dosa was not crispy (I did specify I wanted it crispy when ordering) otherwise everything is perfect! I will definitely be ordering here again!

This is small take out place within subzi Mandi.. we stopped here for some snacks. We got regular samosa, big samosas, mirchi bajji and plantain bajji. Definitely regular samosas stood out off what we got. Plantain bajji was made with sweet plantains. Not something we liked. But regular samosas were amazing and much better to our taste than thier counterparts “Big samosas”. Mirchi bajji would be a neutral rate.! Neither wow nor yeww. Next time when we are in the area, we will be back to try entrees. So anyone craving for regular samosas, here is a spot for amazing ones.!

Food good, people good but as soon as you start getting comfortable, ordering things, they change either the portion size or the prices. Before it was the lunch specials where they changed the portion size to significantly smaller at the same price And then they proceeded to change individual item prices to double the price within a week!

Just look at the gulab jamun (photo attached). The syrup has crystallized into sugar, and the texture is sticky and stale. Clearly 3–4 days old, if not more. This is unacceptable for any restaurant. Definitely not fresh or edible.

The food is very good and made to order. The owner that works there is very kind and they really work so hard to get your order out as soon as possible. I couldn’t be more impressed.
