Mulvane Public Library

Went to the library for the first time today with the kids, and we loved it! The toddler play area kept them entertained, and the whole place feels new and inviting. They have a diverse selection of books and movies, rooms you can reserve, a computer lab, and even a mother’s room. There are also plenty of activities and programs for kids to enjoy.”

This is my absolute favorite library! We’ve gone to most of the local ones (including around Wichita), and there’s just something about this place that’s extra special. There’s plenty to choose from, and anything they don’t have, they’ll track down for you. The staff is fantastic. Miss Victoria makes the children’s program so fun and makes it a point to get to know all the kids and their families. My kiddos love the fish tank and other touches that made us decide to adopt it as our “home base.” 😊

Lots more than just books. It's amazing

Great new building. Lots of shelves, but not many books. Staff could be more inviting or welcoming. A nice improvement to Mulvane! Need more meeting rooms for such a high increase in local taxes. Maybe have local police do work at station and not in meeting rooms of public library. Staff is loud often, it's a library maybe they could act like it and be more respectful. Internet speed is too slow to do video conference for work or school. Very clean overall, minus restrooms. Hours of operation are not enough to support local community. Parking lot is strange design, but works out. Lots of natural light inside to enjoy by windows.

I love this library. I don't live here but I use this library more than the one I'm closer to. They have a nice selection, the people are friendly and helpful. My grandchildren love the children's section and they seem to have a good amount of activities for all ages and I'm never afraid that they will be asked to leave because they are too noisy as I've seen in other libraries in the area.
