Mugshots Grill and Bar - Starkville, MS

We rode up to Starkville on Sunday to have a long lunch with our oldest who attends MSU. We met at Mugshots. It’s a busy spot even for a late lunch after 1:30. We tried a few appetizers- cheeseburger quesadilla, cheese wedges, southwestern eggrolls, and fried pickles. All were delicious. Our son enjoyed the Mac Daddy burger that is a burger topped with Mac and Cheese and bacon and then is sandwiched between two grilled cheese sandwiches. It’s huge! He took the rest back to his dorm for dinner. Our youngest had the Inferno Wrap and loved it. We took a Philly Wrap and two Inferno Wraps home with us for later. They were really good. Great place to meet up and enjoy conversation. The service was excellent.

Love the A1 burger and the buns they use for their burgers. I also like their fries when they are fresh but , this last time I visited and ordered a to-go order , the fries were not fresh and were cold. It is pricey as well. Cost almost $40 for two people. If I'm paying that much for two people , I expect my food to be fresh and not cold.

I love Mugshots. I went there for the first time 3 yrs ago and every time I visit my parents on Thanksgiving (Columbus) it's the spot me and my sister go to. This particular location was were it started and we just went in last week on a surprise visit to my parents. Out waitress was super sweet food was great. I recommend the McDowell Burger or the Pow Pow shrimp (that's what my mom had) and I had to ask for a bite...amazing!!!

One of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had. Maggie was my server, she always had a smile on her face, and she was the sweetest! She went above and beyond for our table making sure we had refills, condiments, and anything we asked for. Will definitely be back! ❤️❤️

Me and my dad just left there and their burgers are so delicious with the soft buns and perfectly cooked beef patties. We also got the fried mushrooms with were awesome just very hot in temperature(I was so hungry that I burned myself lol)
