Mugs & Muffins Cafe

A perfect little stop on the way to Charlottesville. This quaint café has such a warm, small-town charm and is the kind of place you instantly want to linger. I tried the chocolate and cream cheese muffin, which was absolutely delicious, moist, rich, and perfectly balanced. Next time I’m definitely stopping for one of their cinnamon buns. They have an impressive selection of specialty coffees, teas, ciders, and even dirty sodas. The interior is cozy and inviting, and the staff couldn’t have been kinder. Definitely worth the detour if you’re passing through Culpeper.

WOW, what an adorable coffee shop! The space is warm and inviting with cute decor. The menu of options and coffee selection choices are unreal! The biggest selling point for me is that the owners are local and you can tell they REALLY put their heart into everything they make. Amazing rotating and seasonal options with ample space to work on your laptop or read a book. I honestly cant wait to come back to this place. Don't hesitate, go now!!

Stopped by after seeing a post on fb. Walking in I noticed the homey atmosphere which was not expected, but welcoming. They have huge selection of coffees, teas,baked items, and food at very reasonable prices. The staff was very friendly and I ordered a Gyro which was the main reason I stopped in. It came in good time and was tasty. I'd make a few small changes though. Overall pleased and will return when in the area.

Honestly, I’ve never had a bad experience here, which is saying something since I’m a daily customer. The food and drinks are always amazing and if something isn’t right, the owners and staff always fix it right away and apologize for the inconvenience. I’ve tried a good bit of the menu and always impressed. My son is also a huge fan of the food - particularly the pancakes and made-in-cafe cookies. The cafe is a nice little cozy environment with down to earth people running it. I always recommend it to everyone I know.

Really cute spot! So well decorated and ample space to hang out and enjoy your coffee and snacks. They have an amazing drink menu, something that has been lacking in this area! Coffee is fantastic and so are their other drinks.
