I cannot speak highly enough of our wedding at the Mudhen Station House. We had the best night we could ever imagine thanks to Ply and her AMAZING staff. We received so many compliments on the decorations, food and service throughout the entire night. Ply and her team set up all of our decor, directed us throughout the night on the agenda, and put us completely at ease!! Our wedding was in late November, so we were able to use the outside portion for our cocktail hour with all of the beautiful Christmas lights and firepits. It was stunning, and surprisingly very warm with the heat lamps! Inside, Ply and her team set up long tables with baby breath and candles on all of our tables. The food was DELICIOUS and the vibes were perfect. I seriously cannot have wished for a more perfect time and
We visited MudHen for the first time while spending a few days in Wildwood this winter, and I was incredibly impressed. Even though it was a Tuesday night in the off-season—when most of the shore is closed—this place was alive! They had live acoustic music playing by Jack Mangene, who was awesome and really set the tone. The restaurant has a cool brewery design with high ceilings, and the service was fantastic. The food came out quickly and everything was delicious; we ordered the crab cake sandwich, cheeseburger, and grilled chicken pesto, and we were all very happy with our meals. The fudge brownie for dessert was just as good. I personally love dark beers, so I was thrilled with the 'Wise Hen Bock,' which was phenomenal! Overall, a great experience with excellent service, food, drinks
Our family hosted my in-law’s 50th wedding anniversary dinner here and it was BEYOND EXPECTATION. The atmosphere was fun yet intimate, service was AMAZING (Amber our waitress, deserves a raise!) & the food was scrumptious. Our family sat upstairs at the Mudhen & was in perfect proximity to a small bar for friends to surprise them. Bartenders were sweet and made the best drinks I’ve had in years. I refuse to not give 5 stars since it was well deserved HOWEVER- the hostess frankly, SUCKED. She nearly turned the guests of honor away, claiming no reservations were made with a snarky smirk. Patton’s recommendation: find someone more personable who smiles. Overall we had a fantastic experience & will be back soon 🎄🎄
Our wedding at Mudhen was truly a dream come true! From start to finish, the entire experience was seamless and fun! The staff was incredibly attentive, professional, and kind, going above and beyond to make sure every detail was executed perfectly. The team took our vision and transformed the space into the most beautiful venue we could have imagined. Every detail felt intentional and personalized. A special thank you to our lead coordinator, Ply, who was an absolute star. She was responsive, professional, and genuinely made me feel like the most important bride in the world. Her attentiveness to detail and organization made the entire day flow effortlessly. The cleanliness and presentation of the venue were impeccable, and our guests are still raving about the amazing food and drinks.
Went in with family on Valentine’s Day and the experience was pretty average! Service was good but the food and drinks were disappointing. Chicken Sliders - Average at best ! Chicken sandwich- Again for the price and vfm it was pretty ordinary. Buffalo Cauliflower bites - Dry and lacking any flavor Shrimp Po Boy - pretty average again Red Snapper - The best dish of the night by far Special Mention to the Hen Chips they were delicious! Coming to the drinks , the beers were decent ! Cape may brews are better in my opinion. Margaritas were too sweet and watered down. With the glitz and show I had expected much better from here ! Cheers 🥂
