My experience was very great. We did reservations for a party of five. We got there on time and it took like 25 minutes to get food starting we kept watching. Other people eat and leave food was great entertainment was nice. Saw people having birthdays. My only concern was the food service was very quick. We ate in like 20 minutes 30 minutes and then we left. The decorations in the place is very beautiful. I wish we sat in a smaller room outside with nice. Please bring an SUV or a truck because the mountain is crazy to drive in a smaller car.
The architecture and gardens are beautiful. Our chef was entertaining and engaging. The experience will depend on the tables energy. We were seated with 3 other groups of people..a bit crowded but the energy and response to the chefs performance was awesome and fun. The meats were fresh. I had filet mignon and chicken. The sesame sauce was delicious. I didn't like the same soy base on the noodles and the side sauce lacked ginger and flavor just tasted like soy sauce. We celebrated 2 birthdays at our table. The Dragon bit was underwhelming...not as shown on website. Just the head of the dragon by one person. The place was packed and it felt a bit rushed eventhough we waited a long time after being seated to be served. More hype than delivery. We made the best of it.
This is a must visit restaurant. The food, ambiance and service is excellent. Do dress up to fit in. Situated on a private mountain it offers excellent views of the mountains and is a treat in fall. Situated in New York state on the boundary with NJ and off I-87, it's a gem. I recommend you must visit. Don't forget to reserve before you go.
First time trying a hibachi was a bit disappointing. It’s ok price for the amount of food, around 30 bucks for chicken or tofu option and going up from there. I did not find the cook particularly engaging as i had the misfortune to be paired with a family that was not really having it and was mostly kids. But nevertheless i wish each cook did his own thing while i noticed the table next to us having the same exact show. So this would prevent me from going back another time. Also it is very very loud inside so it is not clear which vibes it wants to give off, fancy as the furniture and the cocktail prices or loud relaxed and family friendly?
It was my first time in this place and I recommend it 100% they give you a warm welcome and you feel good. The food is very good 💗 I will come back here every time
