Just bought banku and okra stew only for me to get home to taste it and it was very salty not just that can someone tell me what protein the because it’s not chicken ,goat,beef,turkey

Possibly the best Kenkey in the DMV, and she can back that fact with her patrons who come from as far as North Carolina and New York. The Shito is fire...and her generous portions of fried fish will make your meal worth every bite. If you want Kenkey... there's only one place to go in the DMV...Ms Dee's Kenkey House. Highly recommended.

Awesome place to get your favorite Ghanaian food. You can dine in or do a takeout. The banku and okra soup as well as the Waakye is a total fave! The kenkey is freshly prepared and it still tastes like the Osu Ga kenkey—soft ankasa! Ms Dee is also very nice and welcoming! You can call to order and pickup with Uber. THE BEST AFRICAN RESTAURANT EVER IN VIRGINIA and the entire DC/MD area in my opinion. I am not from Ghana but as an African, her food gives you that West African food taste! Her Okro soup is my favorite. Her Banku taste just like Fufu from Naija and Cameroon, so you get that good taste of “eba and Fufu” . She’s just the best! She gives enough food for your moneys worth! She’s very friendly , clean and good vibe. I eat here weekly and I am looking forward trying all her meals. But , okro soup and Banku is my Favorite!
