Now this was some good eating! I had received a few recommendations to try here. I gave it a go, and a good go it was! The staff thought I was playing when I said I wanted everything. I didn't get the gumbo because it had okra and that's not pbr of my favs, not the chicken spaghetti. Everything else I ordered. Somehow I missed getting my dressing. I was disappointed when I got home. I thoroughly enjoyed my food. This will be a definite return spot for me. The atmosphere got a rating of 3 because it's just an open " cafeteria". No bells or whistles, just somewhere to eat.

I am not sure what’s happening with ms Audrey’s but I’ve been getting old refried chicken 🥹. They reassured me they don’t do old chicken. I let it go. TODAY 01/13/26 I made it there at 11:56, they open at 11:30. Guess what!!! I received yet another old refried chicken wings. No way I make it there 20 mins after opening and my chicken is hard and brown. They start off with yesterday’s chicken to serve the next day & that’s not right. I spent $26 for 2 plates. I don’t think I’ll be returning! I wish it was a way to add my photos and receipt showing the times.

This food was home cooked. The food had flavor and wasn't overpriced. I was pleasantly pleased with my whole fried catfish. The atmosphere was welcoming. The staff was friendly. I to will definitely be going back.

This place is the best place on the coast to get soul food. The food is fresh every day and you know it's great because there's always a line, but the wait is worth it. Some of her menu items are too small of servings. On Thursdays she cooks ox tails. You get only four pieces of ox tails and they're very small pieces of beef ox tails. The servings are tiny but they are very good. Because the servings are tiny you have to order more than one plate to get the expected fill of oxtail. I ordered three plates and there was only four to five pieces on a huge bed of rice and gravy. You have to go and eat here it's a fantastic place to take your friends and family when you wanna show off. She also caters large small events. Called today to inquire about the menu since the menu online wasn't too detailed and a little jumbled. I asked Ms. Audrey the size of the turkey necks for today's special. I haven't really had turkey necks before, so I asked how big they were. I was seeing how much meat came with the plate since I'll be sharing it. If it wasn't enough I was going to get something else to eat from her. With slight annoyance she answered back, "What?! Ma'am? What do you mean how big they are? They're turkey necks size." I was really taken aback how she responded to me and didn't understand why she would talk like that to someone who wants to buy from her. It was belittling. I literally don't know how big turkey necks are or how she may cut or prepare them. It was a simple question. Plus there aren't any item
