Where do I begin!? The fresh moist charred meat cut fresh to order, the cucumber (Jerusalem) salad bursting w/ fresh crispy cucumbers and fresh herbs, the complexity of everything they make-down to the toppings are so fresh and home made -it’s literally an experience to eat here. They have exotic drinks (love the soursop juice!)and desserts as well. Even the beverages have minimal additives. Falafel, hummus and lentil soup is incredible. The lentil soup is great when sick! Its rich and yellow and incredibly filling. I’ve been coming here for YEARS. They are so GENEROUS, my bowl is literally 2 1/2-3 inches deep. You WILL have leftovers! They are also gracious and welcoming on top of it all. This type of food usually has me driving an hr to Chicago but nope, we have it right in the burbs:)

Found a new favorite middle eastern restaurant! The meats are fresh they cook as you order.. big serving and so delicious!! The place is neat! This reminds me of my years living in the middle east. I will be here during my school days!

The food great. I had the Beef Shawarma bowl. Huge helping of lunch, which I ate completely because it tasted so good. This is going to make it into my regular rotation. I may kick up the spice a bit more next time and try one of the wraps.

I went to eat a late lunch here with my boyfriend a second ago, and it was all around very impressive. The man working was super kind and he worked quickly to give us our food, I think we waited for maybe 5 minutes when it was only him working. Then he offered me a water! Then, we ate our beef shwarma which was INCREDIBLE. It was the perfect amount of food and it was a very reasonable price!! I love Mr. Pita!! Will eat again!!!
