Mr. Taco

I absolutely love this restaurant! Every time I go to the food is phenomenal and the staff is even better! I love supporting local businesses!

Our experience was great the birria tacos are delicious the tortilla is nice and crispy but soft at the same time, the meat has a good flavor and everything tastes incredibly fresh! They give complimentary chips and salsa which was also so good! My husband is not a salsa fan and he asked for a second one that says a lot! Lastly the drinks were great too and the staff is so warm and friendly, I’ve already visited twice and I have been happy both times. I can’t wait to go back!

This place is okay. We are from the south and we have yet to find a good Mexican style restaurant here in ct. The tacos are a 7/10 the tortillas are store bought. The tacos are double tortillas so It fills you up faster. The meat is fresh. Steak, fajita, Pastor, Tripa, even the fish is grilled here. My husband likes their fish tacos, menudo and the tripa tacos are one of his favorites. The pinto beans are fresh. The Rice is not good at all. It tastes like plastic without seasoning. . That’s why the the 4 stars. When we go as a family we just go for the tacos. And their menudo. The staff speaks both English and Spanish. They welcome all but the kids need to be seated at all times. The food coming out is HOT.

Idk what’s been going on with them because the fajitas are usually good but literally the last 3x I ordered from them I got these thick chewy rubbery pieces of steak. It doesn’t even taste grilled or have the grill lines it usally does. Just lazy and doesn’t taste good. Idk if they’re a new cook or what but for 20$ this is waste of money
