Mr. Taco

I really like the vibe of this restaurant. It reminds me of going to TJ and eating tacos. The staff is very nice and welcoming and they will help you with any questions you may have and recommend great food items. The restaurant was clean. I ended up getting grilled shrimp tacos and a beer (model). The shrimp and the tacos were chopped up,( I prefer my shrimp whole in my tacos) and they did put end obscene of cabbage (in my opinion). Tortilla was a little steal in my opinion it probably was just because of the way that it was cooked on the flat top. Overall, the food had a really great flavor. I would definitely go back again. Ive come here often since it opened. It always was 10/10 experince. Told all my friends and family, took my grandparents here from Mexico. But im extremely disappointed on how the food tasted this time around. It went from a 10/10 experience, to a 5/10. Its still good. But its not worth an 30 minute drive out anymore. Take that as you will. Not reflective of the workers here at all. Wonderful people.

Mr. Taco is easily one of the best spots in Beaumont for fresh, delicious Mexican food. Every time I stop by, the food is consistently amazing — flavorful, hot, and made with care. Their tacos are packed with meat (the el pastor is great), the salsas are bold, and everything tastes like real, authentic cooking. You can tell they put pride into every plate. The service is just as good as the food. When we went there was 30 minute wait because it was very busy. However, the staff is friendly, fast, and always makes you feel welcome. Even when they’re busy, they keep things moving and never compromise on quality. The restaurant is clean, comfortable, and perfect whether you’re grabbing takeout or sitting down for a quick meal. Great service. The chips are light and crisp. Good selection of salsa. The carne asada burrito was large and tasty. And who doesn't love a 24 ounce beer, they also have 32 ounce beers for the dehydrated.
