This place doesn’t have a phone number that you can call to check on the type of food they have available for the day. I drove all the way over there – – 30 minutes out of the way, and there was a lady sitting up next to the counter looking like she couldn’t be bothered and on her phone. I asked her about the soup and it was definitely not the kind I liked. I have been trying to call the place all afternoon. I asked her if they had a phone that people could call into she just looked up and shook head and said ah uh— Every time we try to bring our people to Business they act like they don’t appreciate it! Totally ghetto! I’m seriously disappointed Should be able to have quality service for our people , whether we are in the hood or not.

Mr. Snapper is a takeout restaurant. But their curry goat melts in your mouth and has great flavor. Thr pigtails with stew peas. I drop my spoon banging. Their chicken soup and beef soups are a favorite as well.

Red pea soup on Saturdays.🤤 Arrive before 3pm or else.....🕜 Stewed peas...it's criminal how good this dish is. Perfectly salty. And the porridge....the cornmeal porridge coupled with fried dumplings. I dip mine into the porridge. Inappropriate, right?🤔 The. Peanut. Porridge. Amazing 🤩👍 Reasonable prices and friendly service. Reggae or dancehall music can usually be heard and there are always beautiful people around. Its a vibe❤️ 🙏❤️

I absolutely loved the Goat Head Soup 🥣 very traditional how I remember it to taste when ppl can cook good!😋

COVID-19 Review Social Distancing is not good.. but once you get past the line, the food is amazing and worth every penny. Parking is scarce but that applies to every establishment in this area. Not an eat-in type of place, so prepare to pickup and go. Slow down a bit so you don't drive past the place. We ordered stewed beef, rice and peas and cabbage. Medium is more than enough for one person and you definitely do not have to ask for gravy. The beef was cooked to perfection and will literally melt in your mouth. Rice was fluffy and fresh. Definitely on the repeat list. Let me know what you think 😊
