Mr. Phillips Seafood Hinesville

This is definitely the last time I’m giving my money to this place. My boyfriend asked for bang bang sauce, and they just gave him these tiny little containers. If we took one dip, the sauce would be totally gone. Charging $2 for those small containers is just ridiculous. We ordered two large Fried Shrimp Dinners, not small ones. Sauce is supposed to come with it. We didn’t get any other sauce, but they wanted to charge us again for two more tiny containers. The shrimp was super salty, like they just dumped a whole bag of salt on it. Plus, it was really soggy. It wasn’t fried enough at all. I can’t eat any of it without my blood pressure going up. We left and went to OD's crab house up the street. They gave us two bang bang sauces for free. That’s how you run a business. That’s how you kee

Delicious, as a man, I’d return here for sure. As a man, if you don’t put hot sauce on everything, you are wrong. 5/5 i recommend if you are in Hinesville looking for a great spot to eat or order seafood. They give OD crab house a run for the money in my opinion. Too great spots to eat. I will add this, one common gripe most ppl have is the price/quantity/quality. Make the price match the quality of experience, eventually no one will focus on price as much as they will remember the quality and quantity. Just an observation. Otherwise great experience. I doubt anyone new with an open mind will disagree 🏆

I ordered the catfish dinner, which came with shrimp and two sides. The catfish was pretty good, though it was a bit too soft for my preference—I should have asked for it fried harder. I also tried the gator bites; the flavor was good, but they were a little too salty for me. Customer service was great. They were out of a few items, but that was understandable. Overall, a decent experience.

The food is delicious and seasoned to perfection. I have been to many seafood places, but Phillips seafood is number 1!!!!! The food is cooked in front of you right after you order. The place is super clean and the staff is friendly. Whenever I want seafood this is where I would go. Also they have amazing lemonade.

Charging people an arm and leg for mostly POTATOES is diabolical. I had high expectations for this company but was ultimately disappointed. We separated the actual shellfish and corn to differentiate. Please do better .
