The staff treats you like family here. Totally loved the ambiance with soothing cafe style music and comfy booth seating. Plenty of food selection and excellent portions. Service was excellent with our server checking in on us regularly and owners present to ensure things were to our liking. French toast was light and fluffy. Gyro omelette was filling, creamy, and delicious. (Never had feta in my omelette before!) Would recommend you go here if you can make it!

While located by Charlotte Douglas International Airport, the restaurant wasn’t too busy, which made for a calm visit. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I tried the hamburger steak cooked crispy, but the flavor wasn’t quite what I expected. The mac and cheese also wasn’t to my taste. Even so, I appreciated the convenient location and the relaxed atmosphere.

Very nice breakfast, this is a family run place, friendly and helpful. Easy parking!

From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The menu was impressive, with a wide range of options to choose from. I opted for the grilled chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries, and it did not disappoint. The sandwich was juicy and flavorful, with just the right amount of seasoning. And the sweet potato fries were crispy and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also great - it had a cozy and inviting feel, with plenty of natural light and comfortable seating. I’ve been coming to Mr G’s all of my life. I grew up down the street and my entire family ate here weekly. Within the past couple of years this place has went downhill. The food quality is awful, the staff doesn’t listen and the prices don’t make sense. Today I got a double cheeseburger combo with fries a tea and ranch. The ranch taste like Mayo in a cup, the lettuce on the burger is brown, the cup they give you is a kid size tea (and the lids don’t fit making it spill all over your car) then as I’m eating my fries I spot this guy. I’m just really upset that I wasted $13 for this.
