Mr. Ed's Drive In

Yummy bacon cheeseburger, fish sandwich, crispy onion rings, and delicious chocolate malt! Great stop on the side of the road with lots of parking and friendly service. Fish sandwich was similar to a McDonald's sandwich. Burgers were small but very tasty! Onion rings were perfectly done!

The butterscotch shake was good. I don't recommend the fried cheese. Friendly service. You can dine inside or out. Lots of room for parking. Clean bathroom around back.

Mr. Ed's Drive-in is the perfect place to stop on our way back from float trips on the Niangua. They have burgers, shakes, ice cream, and all of the other amenities of a drive in burger shop. The curly fries are a must and don't forget your flavored milkshake!

Ever since I went to Bennett Springs in March, I've been wanting to go here. Today, my dream came true and I expected good food. My expectations were right, and it looked and tasted great. The burger tasted like Strate's, and the Onion rings were good as well. People going to or leaving Bennett Springs, stop here. It's worth it.

Passing thru after hunting and was excited to give Mr. Ed's a try because these places are usually super good. The burger was absolutely disgusting. Especially for the price they charge. It reminded me of the burgers you got in the school cafeteria. Frozen, unseasoned patties. If you are driving south, wait until you get to buffalo. If you are driving north, stop in buffalo before you get to Urbana.
