Mr. Cancun

We just landed and Roley and we’re hungry craving Mexican food. I just searched on Google and see who had the best reviews. This place was cleaned. The waiter was super friendly and they gave us each our own bowl of hot sauce! I don’t know if I should be embarrassed because he probably look like we’re very hungry people! They had an extensive menu and their prices were fair. I ended up getting the enchilada Carnitas with a bowl of chicken soup and there was so much meat packed in there. I probably got at least 70 to 90 g of protein! My husband got the chicken enchiladas, and those were very good too.

I like this restaurant. The folks working there are very nice. The free chips and salsa show up quickly. The menu has something for everyone. Very generous portions,

Chimichangas with added grilled chicken were nice and full of fresh ingredients. The beans, rice, chips and salsa were all made fresh and tasted amazing!! Love the salsa was not very hot and was sooo fresh!! My special instructions for all my toppings on the side was fine except the queso was under the chimichanga and not on the side as requested. Also the cold salsa containers sweated when they were put in the same bag as the warm chips and it made some of the chips soggy.🤤😢 Good prices for amazing food and I will definitely be back!!😁UPDATE: 9/21/25 Chimichangas were missing lettuce, guacamole,pico and sour cream😡I hate inconsistency!!!!

Obviously starting with the Pros: Good Customer service, friendly and inviting atmosphere. And the Cons: Area feels crowded to fit every last person in. A bit too forward in requesting to order. As soon as we sat down I was asked if we were ready. The Menue is vast but not restriction friendly. Also the pricing for things like a bowl of soup is kind of outrageous! About $20 for chicken soup. For me, a good Mexican restaurant, is like finding heaven especially in places like Holly Springs. This place was not one and I wont be returning. I ordered the fajitas for me and my sone to split. I already wasnt hungry but, I had one fajita and was over it! There was no flavor/seasoning to the dish and it was too oily. There shouldn't still be oil at the bottom of the hotplate, but there was. We (wife, mother-in-law, and myself) eat here. The service was fantastic, the draft beer ice cold, and the nachos were huge. We got 2 orders of nachos (beef and shredded chicken). We had enough left over to take home for dinner. The nachos were $12 each. We will eat here again.
