I didn't go in wanting sugar more of a protein hit after the gym so i asked for the smoked salmon rye square and the curried egg salad baguette slice which are my go to's at the Mox. "How about a scone? I think you need a sweet treat too," said the kind barista she had just baked them and was exited about them and how could i not be excited too It is Valentine's Day after all They gave it to me in a see through plastic clamshell (a paper bag is traditional for a scone to go) and I didn't experience the rich cocoa scent until I broke the seal hours later at home It was heart shaped and the pastry itself not cloying sweet which I like embedded with chocolate chips and dried cherries it had a guazy pink pastel glaze that pooled and dribbled off the top crust so that given the ratios within

VERY CUTE coffee shop in the morning. I had a quality cortado and brown sugar baked grapefruit which was a delight unique experience.

I can’t rave enough about this place. It was an excellent experience. The staff knew everything there was to know about the menu and the other offerings; they were kind and genuine; and most of all they made me feel welcome. The owner was extremely gracious and good with the staff. And the atmosphere is perfect for a date or study. It’s the perfect coffee shop.

Highly recommend! This place is lovely and the coffee is amazing. Great place to relax, meet friends, or make a pit stop at. I got a vanilla chai latte- couldn’t be better. :) Thanks for a great experience, Moxie!

I do not have enough amazing things to say about Moxie. Patrick and Ronna catered our wedding and made a menu from scratch for us. Our menu included chicken, tenderloin, salads, and a seafood pasta dish. Ronna designed and made a berry, chocolate, and white cake that was out of this world. I can EASILY say our food was the BEST WEDDING FOOD I've ever had. Not only was the food amazing, but Ronna and Patrick were so accommodating and kind. Any request I made, was met with a yes, no problem. We cannot thank Patrick and Ronna enough for all their hard work and brilliant food service. Thank you!
