Movoc Hot Pot was a whole experience 🔥 I built a custom seafood pot loaded with fresh shrimp, mussels, fish, and veggies in a rich, flavorful broth. Everything tasted fresh and high quality. Fun, interactive dining that’s perfect for date night or pulling up with the crew. Definitely going back.

Love love LOVE movoc. Malatang is not something you see a lot of restaurants for in the Midwest and for it to be here in STL and be delicious is already amazing. The selection of ingredients is great, taste is also great, and the staff are very kind. The only issues are cross contamination of ingredients due to lack of tongs and then the limited space, but that at least is not really something that can be helped as the restaurant itself is pretty small compared to a stand alone building. My favorite things to put in my bowl are the squid, moneybag tofu, and lotus root. There’s a smaller section in the back to make sauce, and the chili oil and pickled cabbage are incredible! If you’re not sure how great you’ll be with spice, getting the mushroom or tomato base and then adding chili oil will

This was our first time here and wow was it awesome. It is pretty easy to go overboard though. We did three bowls and it was right at $90. Totally worth it, and you can take away what you don't finish. The plain chicken broth was great for my son, and my wife and I did the hot and sour broth. Both tasted great, I can't wait to try there others. Everything was well labeled very well, but it was a little hard to make my bowl as the worker kept restocking as I was trying to get ingredients. Maybe wait a minute or fill behind people and not in front of them in the futire? I ended up just waiting on him to finish, which was a little awkward since I was the only person in line.

I absolutely love this place. You go in, get a bowl, add whatever you want into the bowl and they will weigh it and you’ll pay for it. They will give you a number and you can help yourself to complementary rice and water. It comes out fast. The clean up after people are done was fast as well. I got the number 1 medium spice base. The only thing I didn’t like is that it had TOO MANY PEPPERCORNS in it. I’ll definitely go back and try the other bases.

Movoc on the Delmar Loop is where I officially leveled up as a foodie. This place is bright welcoming and very red! It’s also genius! You build your hot pot by choosing your proteins, noodles, veggies, and broth. They have 2 broths that are vegetarian and I can’t contain myself over that. You pay by pound of food. You then hand it off so they can cook it for you. They bring it out boiling and it stays simmering while you enjoy. Lobster balls, crab legs, tilapia, shrimp, it’s basically a pescatarian hot pot place in my eyes. I walked in hungry and walked out with a new foodie badge unlocked. Absolutely #StLouisPescatarianApproved Loved it!
