It may not look like much on the outside, but this place is great. It’s run by a nice guy, and the cheese fries are also quite solid and taste good. As for the hot dogs, they (from the sausage to the chili to the cheese to the mashed potatoes) have this amazing texture. Like, it has this soft, embracing feel in your mouth that just leaves you with a smile on your face. And the taste is phenomenal. That’s the best way I can describe it, I personally recommend trying this place out yourself if you actually want to know what it’s like…

Use to be the old hot dog hut now it’s the Mountainview DELI & HOT DOG all new owners. Small little place. Wasn’t too bad. Fries were not cooked all the way. Sauce was bit spicy (they use chili) very clean tho. Service was pretty fast too. Friendly

I have been going for lunch to this Hot Dog Hut for years, and on Saturday, I was disappointed due to the increases in the prices, especially the hot dog price increase. I asked the owner where the Sabrett hot dogs were, and he stated he changed to a thicker Nathan's hot dog. It did not compare to the thinner Sabrett's, and now they are grilled in the back. I spent $10.00 on two hotdogs, an increase of almost $4.00. I will not be returning since I can go to J& M Grill in Boonton for a $3.00 hot dog with toppings.

Such a little gem in town! I had the Western Omelette and Chili Cheese Bacon Dog, and they tasted amazing. I’ll definitely come back to try other menu.
